^Lot 26 Colt Sheriffs Model .45 LC #SA69388

'Third Generation' Sheriffs Model, a beautiful American made ejector-less short barreled single action revolver chambered in .45 Long Colt, manufactured circa 1985 in Hartford, CT. The 'Third Generation' Sheriff's Models were produced from 1980-1985. Featuring a high polish blued finish, 3" barrel with two-line address on the top, blade front sight, notched frame rear sight, smooth curved thin trigger, two-toned hammer, checkered hammer spur, fluted six-shot cylinder, collard cylinder pin head, color-case hardened frame, smooth grip straps, and two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips with the rampant horse and spread eagle. Frame is color-case hardened with the rest of the pistol having a blued finish. Revolver exhibits approximately 99% of it's original color-case finish showing nothing remarkable. The blued finish is also excellent with only a few superficial scratches, and some along the right side of the barrel. Action is smooth and crisp with a tight fit. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are also excellent. Hard rubber grips are excellent.
